My life was shattered...... Your life went on.

In a blink of an eye, my baby was gone..... In a blink of an eye, you woke up to a beautiful Friday morning.

There is nothing wrong with that......

But..........

Please don’t forget about me.

Don’t forget about my baby.

Don’t forget that every day I think about my baby.

Don’t forget that you CAN’T say anything that will make it better and that’s ok.

Don’t forget to be present with me still.

Don’t forget to check on me.

Don’t forget that I don’t need space, I need a hug.

Don’t forget that even if you feel awkward talking to me about losing my baby, it means the world to me that you haven’t forgotten.

Don’t forget that I need you.

Don’t forget that I just might need someone to sit silently in a room with me; you don’t have to know what to say.

Don’t forget that I don’t want to be forgotten.

My life did not just carry on. My life has shifted completely and I need to not be forgotten. I need to not feel alone.

Please don’t forget about those that have lost their baby. Please don’t assume “they need space”. Please don’t be afraid to talk about our baby. Please don’t forget about us. WE NEED YOU!
